We are a team of trained nurses providing ketamine-assisted therapy (in Seattle, Washington) & psychedelic practitioner training (virtually) under the leadership of Angela Ward.

Our approach includes a unique mix of coaching combined with medically-supervised treatments. It has proven highly effective for those who are ready for and committed to healing and re-birth. We like to call ourselves soul midwives; we can’t do the ‘birthing’ for you, but we’ll be there to support and care for you every step of the way, and ensure you remain aligned with your intentions.

ANGELA WARD

Nurse. Soul Midwife. Psychedelic therapy expert.

I’m Angela Ward, a nurse, nurse coach, former birth doula and the founder of Guardian at the Gateway. I’m also a survivor of PTSD who understands first-hand the healing power of psychedelic-assisted therapy. I have experienced it in my own life, witnessed it in hundreds of others and built this business so that you (and thousands of others) can reap the benefits, too.

It has become clear over the years that my calling is to support people through transformational experiences. I’ve done it as a labor and delivery nurse, birth doula, perinatal bereavement professional and now, through my work facilitating and supporting ketamine therapy.

I consider it a great honor, privilege and responsibility to cultivate a safe and strong container for people as they travel through the unknown towards deep transformation and healing.

That’s where ‘Guardian at the Gateway’ came from; what lies ‘beyond’ is full of unknowns and can be scary.

Though your healing is in your hands, my team and I are here to fully support you on this journey, safely guiding you every step of the way.

As you’ll see below, I have extensive training in the psychedelic space. In combination with my nursing background and firsthand experience with ketamine treatments, it allows me to offer a unique method of care that includes the right type and amount of information and integration in addition to the treatments themselves.

When I’m not supporting clients or teaching other practitioners to do the same, you’re most likely to find me travelling, tending to my garden, feeding my chickens and playing with my dogs.
